کنسرت›آنسامبل اوپیا - لهستان / رومانی

گروه اوپیا در سال 2014 توسط الکساندرا پیکاژ(نوازنده ویلنسل از لهستان) و یوآنا ماندرسکو(نوازنده پیانو از رومانی) که هر دو در هنرستان کونینکلیک بروکسل تحصیل کرده اند تاسیس گردید. اگرچه  آنها در ابتدا بر موسیقی کلاسیک و رومانتیک تمرکز داشتند اما خیلی زود به سبکهای دیگر موسیقی روی آوردند. آنها به گروه همه کاره و منعطفی تبدیل شدند که بر بسیاری از ژانرها از کلاسیک گرفته تا جز، موسیقی الکترونیک و موسیقی معاصر متمرکز شدند. آنها نه تنها با دیگر موسیقی دانان همکاری داشتند بلکه با هنرمندانی از دیگر رشته ها مانند رقص، هنرهای تجسمی و معماری نیز همکاری به عمل آورده اند. صرفنظر از اینکه این دو هنرمند، ملیت متفاوتی دارند و در بروکسل - جهانی ترین شهر اروپا- با همدیگر آشنا شده اند، موسیقی این دو هنرمند تنوع علایقشان را منعکس می نماید.
گروه اوپیا کنسرتهایی را در بلژیک، هلند، پرتغال و لهستان از جمله تالار کنسرت خانه موسیقی در پورتو اجرا نموده اند. اخیرا آنها به جشنواره کوراندایر در بروکسل که در آوریل 2016 برگزار خواهد شد، دعوت شده اند. آنها پروژه خود را با عنوان "سایه ها" - آثاری از ارکی سون تور، جان کیج، تورو تاکمیتسو و مورتون فلدمن - به کمک طراحی نور، سایه های هنرمندان موسیقی را به نمایش درآورند.
گروه اوپیا همچنین به اجرای آثار جدید برای پیانو و ویلنسل به منظور حمایت از آهنگسازان جوان ملیتهای مختلف علاقه مند می باشد.

Opia Ensemble was formed in 2014 by a Polish cellist Aleksandra Pykacz and a Romanian pianist Ioana Mandrescu, who met during their studies at the Koninklijk Conservatorium in Brussels. Although they have started their collaboration as a traditional duo, playing mostly classical and romantic music, they have swiftly shifted to other styles. They became a versatile, flexible ensemble, that devotes its attention to a multitude of genres, from classical through jazz and electronic music to classical contemporary music, seeking collaborations not only with other musicians, but also with dancers, performers, actors, visual artists, architects. Withdrawing from the fact that they come from two different countries, and they met in Brussels, being the most cosmopolitan city in Europe, their music reflects the diversity of their interests.
Opia Ensemble performed concerts in Belgium, the Netherlands, Portugal and Poland, including concert halls such as Casa da Musica in Porto. Recently they were invited to perform at the "Courants d'Airs Festival" in Brussels, which will take place in April 2016. They will perform their project "Shadows" - works of Erkki Sven Tuur, John Cage, Toru Takemitsu and Morton Feldman, using a projection screen and a play of lights, in order to present to the public shadows of musical performers.
Their upcoming projects include collaboration with a Dutch choreographer and performer Karin Verbruggen, and a Polish artist Gabriela Nasfeter, as well as working on a fusion of film, music and pantomime for a performance of Morton Feldman's Patterns in a Chromatic Field, following Ioana's initiative of collaborating with visual artists for a Morton Feldman Piano Quartet performance in Bozar in September 2015.
Opia Ensemble is also vividly interested in commissioning new works for cello and piano in order to support young composers of different nationalities.
